How the Ukrainian Army Has Changed During the War

The head of state noted that there are losses on both sides — in Ukraine and Russia. Therefore, more people need to be mobilized into the army.

"At the beginning of the war, 90% of our army consisted of professional officers, while 10% were mobilized individuals," — the President stated.

According to him, to preserve the lives of personnel, the army is currently being restructured. This involves replacing personnel with technology.

"Our people are doing everything possible to technologically replace personnel. It is better to lose various drones and robotic systems in large quantities than to lose people," — Zelensky emphasized.

Additionally, in the interview, President Volodymyr Zelensky mentioned that Ukraine is now closer to peace than ever before. He stated that Ukrainians have endured significant losses while fighting for independence.

The President of Ukraine also addressed how much financial assistance Ukraine has received from the United States. Zelensky noted that this involves billions of dollars.
