The Russian army attacked law enforcement officers who were in an official vehicle. This incident occurred on the outskirts of the city of Kupiansk.
This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Telegram channel of the Kharkiv region police.
According to the agency, the incident took place on the afternoon of Monday, January 20, as the law enforcement officers were conducting patrols in the Kupiansk district in their Renault Duster official vehicle.
At that moment, they were struck by an enemy drone named "Molniya."

An examination of the incident site is underway, and debris from the munition is being collected.
Fighting for Kupiansk
Earlier, there were reports that a group of Russian occupiers had likely broken into Kupiansk. However, Ukrainian defenders managed to repel the attack. According to the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Anatoliy Burhylovych, there is currently no threat to Kupiansk.
Additionally, in early December, in the vicinity of the village of Novomlynsk in the Kupiansk district, the Russians attempted to seize and hold a foothold on the right bank of the Oskol River.
