In Kyiv, a man and a woman were apprehended for plotting an assassination attempt on the First Deputy Minister of Health. Both were arrested while attempting to purchase a firearm.
This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing the Telegram channel of the National Police of Ukraine.
According to sources from RBK-Ukraine, the assassination was intended for the First Deputy Minister of Health, Sergey Dubrov.
The detainees turned out to be two residents of the Kyiv region:
For several months, both monitored Dubrov's daily routine and movements. Specifically, they rented an apartment in the same residential complex, frequently changed vehicles to avoid detection, and visited a shooting range to practice their shooting skills.

As a reminder, RBK-Ukraine reported that the National Police and the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) recently uncovered a gang that was preparing an assassination attempt on a family of volunteers in the Cherkasy region.
In particular, in early September, law enforcement dismantled an agent network of an elite unit of the Federal Security Service (FSB), which was planning an assassination attempt on journalist Dmitry Gordon.
