A pre-trial investigation has been launched," the statement reads.
We remind you that recently, the Chervonozavodsky District Court of Kharkiv found 19-year-old Mykola Kharkivsky guilty of violating traffic rules. This pertains to a traffic accident he caused while still a minor on October 26, 2021, which resulted in one fatality and three injuries.
Mykola was sentenced to 8 years in prison and banned from driving for three years.
It is noteworthy that in September of this year, the Patrol Police of Ukraine published statistics indicating that the number of traffic accidents in the country increased by 10.5% from January to August compared to the same period in 2023. The primary causes of these statistics were speeding violations and improper maneuvering.
