Unknown drones have attacked the Afipsky oil refinery located in the Krasnodar region. It is situated right next to the air defense unit of the 90th anti-aircraft missile brigade of the Russian Federation.
This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing Defense Express.
Last night, unidentified drones struck the Afipsky oil refinery, which is located in Krasnodar Krai, Russia.
According to Andrei Kovalenko, head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation, the refinery is one of the key oil processing facilities in Russia with a capacity of 6.25 million tons of oil per year.
The publication noted that the damage to this refinery is significant. It is essentially located "behind the fence" of the 90th anti-aircraft missile brigade of the 49th combined arms army.
Interestingly, the 90th anti-aircraft missile brigade of the Russian Federation is equipped with Buk-M2 missile systems, and since 2020, it has started receiving the Buk-M3, which is the latest version of this air defense system.
Previously, we reported that on the night of February 8, strike UAVs attacked four regions of Russia. In two of them, the targets were oil processing facilities.
Before that, drones attacked the Rostov region and Krasnodar Krai. In Primorsko-Akhtarsk, drones hit an airfield from which aggressors launch "Shahed" drones against Ukraine.
