Russian intelligence services have increasingly recruited citizens of Ukraine for illegal activities. However, they have altered their tactics and are now undermining operatives who are planting explosives at military enlistment offices.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing the press service of the SBU.
"The Russian special services have begun to employ a new tactic. They undermine the operatives who are mining military enlistment offices. They use them 'in the dark' and then dispose of them like unnecessary witnesses," the message states.
The SBU has urged Ukrainians to report any attempts at recruitment through the chatbot "Spali 'FSBeshnika'."
"If you or your acquaintances are offered to 'just drop off a package' at a military enlistment office, police station, or other administrative building, know that they want to kill you," the SBU warns.
