Border guards thwarted the assault by Russians on motorcycles in the Seversk direction (video).

Russian occupiers attempted to storm the positions of Ukrainian troops in the Severodonetsk direction. They used motor vehicles for this purpose.

This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the State Border Guard Service.

According to the border guards, the Russians decided to take advantage of the cloudy weather and tried to break through to the front line of our defenses. They moved in small groups using motor transport.

However, their maneuvers were promptly detected by aerial reconnaissance units from "GALA drones company" of the 1st Border Detachment. Accurate strikes from drones put the enemy in their place.

During the operation, the border guards eliminated 8 occupiers and destroyed several of their motorcycles.

We remind you that earlier we reported that the Russian army used aviation in an attempt to break through near Kurakhovo.

Additionally, in the Vremensky direction over the past 24 hours, the Russians attacked about six settlements. They managed to infiltrate the defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the last 24 hours, from December 23 to 24, the Russian army lost 1,630 soldiers in the war against Ukraine, along with 10 artillery systems and 44 drones.
