The suspect in the murder of Irina Farion, Vyacheslav Zinchenko, has had his detention extended. He will remain in custody until April 24.

This information was reported by a source in law enforcement to RBK-Ukraine.

During the court hearing, the prosecutor submitted a request to extend the preventive measure for Vyacheslav Zinchenko for 60 days without the right to bail.

"The trial is ongoing, and the preventive measure has been extended," the source said.

It was later revealed that Zinchenko's detention was extended without the right to bail until April 24. This is despite the defendant's lawyer requesting to change the preventive measure to round-the-clock house arrest with an electronic bracelet.

Furthermore, as reported by suspilne.media, evidence related to the case was examined in court. In particular, video footage from the scene of Irina Farion's murder was reviewed. Additionally, the next hearing is scheduled for March 10.
