Due to the strike on Odessa, there are power issues in Mykolaiv and Kherson. Here’s what we know so far (updated).

In the night of Wednesday, February 19, Russians launched a massive strike against Ukraine. Explosions were heard in Odessa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson, leading to disruptions in electricity, heating, and water supply in three southern regions of the country.

According to "Telegraph," after the strike on Odessa, power outages began in Kherson and Mykolaiv. This was reported by local Telegram channels.

UPD 9:45. Issues were observed in the Novoodesky section of the joint-stock company "Mykolaivoblenergo," the agency reported. By the morning of February 19, more than 13,000 household subscribers and several legal consumers in 34 localities of the region were without electricity.

Later, the regional energy company announced that power had been restored to all residents of Mykolaiv region.

Subsequent reports indicated that electricity was gradually returning, but issues with heating also began to surface.

The head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Kim, stated that local authorities are working to eliminate the consequences of the Russian attack.

It is worth noting that Russians struck a densely populated area of Odessa. One person has been reported injured, but many homes, clinics, and social infrastructure facilities have been left without electricity, water, and heating. As a result of the attack, a children's clinic and kindergarten were damaged.

All utility services are working on addressing the aftermath of the Russian attack.
