Starting December 1, in Ukraine, subsidies will be assigned until the end of the heating season, which is until April 30. This will also continue in 2025. The subsidy is calculated from the month of application submission.
As reminded by the Pension Fund, recent changes have been made to the maximum amount of one-time expenses that prevent receiving a subsidy. This amount has been increased to 100,000 UAH. If the expenses were for a generator or a similar installation, the amount not considered when making subsidy decisions is 150,000 UAH.
When submitting documents from January 1, 2025, family income for the II and III quarters of 2024 will be taken into account, while income in the form of pension will be considered for November 2024. The subsidy may be revoked if it is found that the applicant did not report changes in their property or social status.
If power outages continue and intensify in January, the amount of the subsidy will remain unchanged. It is fixed according to social consumption norms, so a lower amount of consumed electricity will not affect the assistance.
Previously, "Telegraph" reported on another type of subsidy — for solid fuel. Not everyone can receive it, and only until the end of 2024.
