The night of Friday, November 29, was unsettling for residents of the Krasnodar region in Russia. Drones launched a massive attack on the city of Tuapse, where they had previously struck an oil refinery.
The Telegram channel ASTRA published screenshots of conversations among Tuapse residents, who reported "terrifying" sounds heard in various neighborhoods. Some mentioned that smoke was rising over the refinery.
The channel also shared a photo of smoke over the sea, which appeared in Tuapse following the large-scale drone attack. The image was captured by an online camera at one of the local beaches.
Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that "47 Ukrainian drones were destroyed by air defense forces on duty." According to the department, 29 of these were over the Rostov region, eight over the Krasnodar region, three over Belgorod, Bryansk, and Voronezh regions, and one drone over occupied Crimea.
It is worth noting that Tuapse has received "greetings" more than once. Drones have targeted the local oil depot. For instance, in July, there were five explosions.
As reported by "Telegraph," on the night of November 29, explosions occurred at the Rosrezerv oil depot "Atlas" in the Rostov region of Russia due to an attack by unidentified drones. This incident took place in Kamensk-Shakhtinsky.
