The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has detained a group of Kremlin supporters in several regions of Ukraine. They were attempting to create a so-called "rebel movement."

This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the press center of the Security Service of Ukraine.

Law enforcement has neutralized the subversive activities of the pro-Kremlin organization "Workers' Front of Ukraine." According to the investigation, the perpetrators were promoting neo-communist ideas under the guise of encouraging Ukrainians to rise against the authorities and lay down their arms before the Russians.

The suspects called on men of conscription age to evade mobilization, while advising active servicemen not to follow their commanders' orders and to desert. Additionally, the agitators suggested that defenders unite into so-called "soldier committees" to collectively refuse participation in combat operations.

The perpetrators created pages for their organization across various social networks, amassing over 30,000 followers. They actively plastered cities with propaganda leaflets featuring QR codes from the enemy organization and calls to disrupt mobilization.

Daily, they visited no fewer than 30 addresses where they posted "agitational materials" on bulletin boards or simply on building walls.

To print their propaganda materials, they set up clandestine "printing houses" right in their own homes.

The SBU apprehended five organizers of enemy cells during special operations in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Poltava, and Kharkiv regions. All detainees are local residents aged between 20 and 32 years. Some of them are students, while others are employed or unemployed.

During searches, law enforcement discovered large quantities of hostile propaganda materials, communist literature, computers, and mobile phones with evidence of crimes.

The detainees were notified of suspicion under part 2 of article 28 and part 1 of article 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (obstruction of the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations during a special period, committed by a group of persons in collusion).

Three of the suspects are in custody. The other two have been placed under round-the-clock house arrest with electronic monitoring.

Recall that SBU detained a girl who was preparing a terrorist attack in central Kyiv. The Russian agent turned out to be a resident of Lviv.

Also, recently agents of Russia were uncovered in Zhytomyr, who planned to carry out a terrorist attack against police officers. They intended to blow up law enforcement personnel on behalf of the Russian Federation.
