The Lubensky District Court of the Poltava region has issued a verdict against a man under Article 173 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses (Minor Hooliganism).

The text of the court's decision is published on the website of the Unified State Register of Judicial Decisions. The incident took place on November 9, 2024 — the defendant entered the "Cafeteria" store on Molodezhnaya Street in the village of Zasulye, Lubensky District.

He was in a state of intoxication and used obscene language towards the seller.

At the trial, the accused admitted his guilt and stated that he indeed used obscene language. The victim expressed forgiveness and stated that she no longer has any claims against him.

Guided by Article 173 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses (Minor Hooliganism), the court ordered the defendant to pay a fine of 605 hryvnias.

Based on the second part of Article 308 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, if the offender fails to pay the fine within 15 days, the state enforcement authorities will collect double the fine amounting to 102 hryvnias.

Previously, "Telegraph" reported that a couple in Odessa took their disputes to court over who should pay for their child's surgery. The woman requested the court to order her ex-husband to provide additional funds for the child amounting to 67,959.50 hryvnias, but the defendant filed an appeal.
