An explosion occurred in a high-rise building in Irpin on January 25. The cause is being investigated.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the police of the Kyiv region and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
"On January 25 at 09:05, the Bucha district's operational dispatch service received a report of an explosion in an apartment on the 7th floor of a 10-story building in Irpin," - the message from the State Emergency Service states.
A duty crew from the 36th State Fire and Rescue Unit of Irpin was immediately dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, rescuers found that an explosion had occurred, but there were no visible signs of fire or smoke. Fortunately, there were no injuries or fatalities.
As added by the regional police, the explosion caused damage to the living space. The cause of the explosion is being determined.

Currently, law enforcement officers from the Bucha police department and other relevant services are working at the scene.
As reported, about a week ago, an ammunition exploded in one of the radio studios in Kyiv. Preliminary investigations suggest that an army detonator exploded.
Additionally, a grenade exploded in the Shevchenko district of Kyiv near a high-rise building. As a result of the incident, a woman sustained injuries.
