On Friday, January 31, Russians launched another attack on Ukraine using "Shaheds" on the 1073rd day of the war. In the morning, during an air raid alert, a loud explosion was heard in Kyiv and its surrounding areas. Prior to that, we reported that there were damages caused by drone debris in one of the districts of the capital.
This was reported by a correspondent from "Telegraph". The Ukrainian Air Forces warned that a "Shahed" was moving towards the capital.
"Attention! Kyiv! An enemy strike UAV is heading your way from the northeast," the message stated.
Then an explosion occurred. It is likely that air defense units were targeting the threat.
The air raid alert in Kyiv was declared at approximately 8:07 AM. The explosion occurred at 8:09 AM.
As of 8:19 AM, the air raid alert was lifted in Kyiv. However, the threat continues in the region.
The local publication in Brovary, "Public Auditor," reported a threat to the Brovary district, as "Shaheds" are advancing from Chernihiv region.
We remind you that Russian military may carry out a massive shelling of Kherson and its suburbs in the near future. Due to the high level of danger, people are advised to avoid going outside for now.
Earlier, "Telegraph" reported that on January 20, Russians massively attacked Ukraine using "Shahed" drones. Specifically, explosions were heard in Sumy, Khmelnytskyi, Kyiv, and other regions of the country. At the same time, guided aerial bombs were recorded being dropped in Kharkiv region.
