Trump made this statement during a press conference following his meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron in the Oval Office at the White House.
A journalist noted that recently Trump referred to Zelensky as a "dictator" and asked if he would use the same words regarding Putin.
"I do not use these words lightly," the American president stated.
It is worth mentioning that Trump expressed his dissatisfaction with Zelensky's policies on his Truth Social page, calling him a "dictator without elections."
Zelensky responded during a press conference at the "Ukraine. Year 2025" forum, saying that the one who should be offended by the term "dictator" is someone who truly fits that description.
Earlier, when asked by a journalist about the possibility of territorial concessions from Ukraine to Russia, Trump suggested that it might be possible.
Additionally, Trump announced today a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the near future to sign a mineral resources agreement.
