The forces of unmanned systems continue their campaign against Russian equipment. This time, the anti-aircraft missile system "Strela-10M4" has been destroyed.
This is reported by RBK-Ukraine referencing the Forces of Unmanned Systems.
According to military sources, the enemy equipment was eliminated by operators of the 412th regiment "NEMESIS". The "Strela-10M4" missile system is one of the most modern modifications of the Soviet air defense system "Strela-10".
It is noted that this system can hit targets at a distance of up to 5 kilometers and at altitudes of 10 meters and above. Its primary mission was to protect the occupiers' units, especially from Ukrainian drones. However, our operators once again demonstrated who truly rules the skies.
The "Strela-10" is a Soviet self-propelled short-range air defense system developed in the 1970s as a replacement for the "Strela-1". Based on the MT-LB tracked platform, it is mobile and supports armored units.
It is armed with 4-6 missiles of the 9M37 type, equipped with either infrared or photo-contrast homing heads, capable of engaging aerial targets at distances up to 5 km. The system operates effectively in conditions of electronic warfare, although it is dependent on weather conditions. It has been used in Afghanistan, Syria, and Ukraine, and is still in service with the Russian Federation, undergoing modernization.
For reference, in the past 24 hours, the losses of Russian invaders amounted to 1300 personnel. Additionally, Ukrainian forces neutralized 5 tanks, 11 armored fighting vehicles, 26 artillery systems, two air defense units, 122 operational-tactical level UAVs, 138 vehicles, and two pieces of special equipment belonging to the occupiers.
