The Rada rejected the resolution supporting democracy in Ukraine.

The resolution emphasized the significance of maintaining the principle of continuity of power, even in the context of martial law.

It stated that President Volodymyr Zelensky should remain in his position until the newly elected leader assumes office.

Let us remind you that the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, stated that Ukraine's accession to the European Union should happen as soon as possible.

Stefanchuk also commented on the conduct of elections during wartime, noting that Ukraine currently needs ammunition more than ballots.
