There are many delicious dishes you can prepare to enjoy with tea, such as chocolate fondant. Today, we would like to draw your attention to a lemon-poppy seed cake.

Method of preparation:
1. In a deep bowl, place room temperature butter, add sugar, and start beating. Once the butter becomes light in color, begin adding 1 egg at a time, beating after each addition.
2. Add the zest of 1 orange and 1 lemon, the juice of half a lemon and half an orange, yogurt or sour cream (preferably low-fat), salt, sifted flour, baking powder, and mix until smooth. You can add poppy seeds if you like; if you do, add them at this stage.
3. Line a baking pan with parchment paper, pour in the batter, and bake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees for about 40 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick.
4. Once the cake is ready, remove it from the oven, make many small holes with a toothpick, and immediately soak it. To do this, mix lemon juice with sugar (you can warm it slightly if needed to help the sugar dissolve).
5. Let the cake cool a bit, then make the glaze by mixing powdered sugar with lemon juice and pour it over the cake right away.
