U.S. President Donald Trump has once again claimed that the Russian Federation stole the plan for creating hypersonic missiles from the United States. This occurred during Barack Obama's administration.
As reported by RBK-Ukraine, he made this statement in an interview with Fox News.
During his conversation with the journalist, Trump stated that "Russia stole the project; they got it from us."
"Russia stole the project; they got it from us. Some bad person gave them the project... They stole it during the Obama administration, not Biden's. Although they apparently stole a lot from Biden as well, we will hear about that too," Trump said.
He also mentioned that the United States will possess super hypersonic missiles, "which is even a step better." He indicated that they will be launched soon.
It is worth noting that Trump has previously spoken about theft. In particular, in 2023, he told his supporters that Russia stole the plans for "super-duper missiles." At that time, the Kremlin responded to these claims by stating, "We have our own missile, a wonderful missile."
Recall that we previously reported that Trump also expressed hope for China's support in ending the war between Ukraine and Russia. In his view, by joining forces, it would be possible to bring this to an end.
At the same time, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky noted that Chinese leader Xi Jinping could push Russian dictator Vladimir Putin towards peace, as he pointed out that the Russian economy is heavily dependent on China.
