In the night leading to Monday, February 3, an unidentified drone violated the airspace of Moldova. The drone flew over several populated areas of the country.

"Last night, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) breached the airspace of the Republic of Moldova," the statement said.

The unauthorized flight was detected and tracked by the airspace control systems of the National Army. The violation was recorded between 00:30 and 00:45 hours.

The flight path of the drone: Pavlovka village, Ukraine - Karmanova village - Mayak city - Grigoriopol city.

After that, the drone exited the airspace of the Republic of Moldova along the same trajectory.

Airspace Violation During Attacks on Ukraine

Since the onset of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, there have been periodic reports of violations of other countries' airspace by Russian drones. This occurs during large-scale attacks on Ukraine.

Previously, we reported that on November 10, two drones were discovered in the territory of Moldova, which entered during another attack by the Russian Federation. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova strongly condemned Russia's actions. The Ukrainian Air Force noted that some drones went off course, ending up in Belarus and Moldova.
