Budanov stated that North Korea meets 50% of Russia's ammunition needs.

According to Budanov, Russia is significantly increasing both the quantity and production of weaponry, particularly in the areas of guided bombs and drone technology.

"In this regard, we cannot overlook their now, we can say, strategic ally North Korea, which fulfills 50% of all frontline ammunition expenses. 50% of the ammunition is Korean-made. Additionally, large-scale deliveries of weaponry have begun. Primarily, this includes 170-mm self-propelled howitzers and 240-mm multiple rocket launchers. It is already well known that Korean soldiers are being used in the Kursk region. Korea is actively participating in the war against us," Budanov stated.

Recall that Kirill Budanov also expressed his belief in the conclusion of the war this year. He added that Russia needs a breather.

The head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Oleg Ivashchenko, noted that Russia wants a "breather" for only one reason. He is convinced that after regaining strength, it will once again move against Ukraine.
