Russia has deployed ships armed with 26 "Kalibr" missiles in the Mediterranean Sea. Here's what you need to know about this development.

In the Mediterranean Sea, four enemy ships have been recorded at this stage, three of which are equipped with Kalibr cruise missiles. The total number of missiles these vessels can launch amounts to 26 units. This information comes from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as reported by UNN.

However, there are no enemy ships observed in the Black and Azov Seas.

Additionally, during the past 24 hours, the passage of six vessels through the Kerch Strait has been noted. Four of them continued their journey towards the Black Sea, while two headed towards the Azov Sea. One vessel was coming from the Bosporus, which may indicate an increase in traffic through these strategically important maritime routes.

At the same time, the hostile side continues to violate international norms, particularly the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) of 1974, by disabling automatic identification systems on their ships.
