In an exclusive comment to Novini.LIVE, lawyer Vladislav Lukyanenko from the "VERITI GROUP" stated the following.
It is important to note that during the medical examination, the VVK issues resolutions of a general nature as follows:
Fit:
• for military service;
• for service in support military units, TCK and SP, military higher educational institutions, training centers, establishments, medical units, logistics, communication, operational support, and security units.
Unfit:
• for military service;
• for military service with re-examination in 6–12 months (this resolution is made during the period of martial law).
"The Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine Regarding the Provision of Rights of Military Personnel and Police for Social Protection" has excluded definitions such as 'limited fit for military service' and 'unfit for military service in peacetime, limited fit in wartime.' Therefore, it can be confidently stated that such a status previously held by an individual cannot be restored," the lawyer explained.
Consequently, no one classified as limited fit will regain that status. They will receive either "fit" or "unfit" based on the VVK's conclusion.
It is worth reminding that there is a list of diseases that can grant a person the status of unfit. However, according to the lawyer, the list of diseases has been removed, and they are no longer an obstacle for mobilization.
