He made this statement during his speech at the Priority Summit of the Institute for Future Investment Initiatives, which took place in Miami.
Trump noted that the current global situation, including conflicts in the Middle East and Russia's war against Ukraine, is bringing humanity closer to a global confrontation. However, he emphasized his efforts to end wars, resolve international conflicts, and restore stability.
"No one benefits from a Third World War, and you are not far from it. I’ll tell you right now — it’s closer than it seems. If the administration (of President Joe Biden — Ed.) stayed for another year, you would already be in a Third World War. But that won't happen during my presidency," Trump stressed.
In addition, the American leader recalled the disrupted deal regarding rare earth metals, which he believes was caused by the war in Ukraine. He stated that he intends to restore it.
"Yes, I think I will revive that deal. We’ll see what happens, but I will restore it, otherwise it won’t make him (Vladimir Zelensky — Ed.) very happy. Look, it’s election time," Trump added.
Recall that Donald Trump accused Vladimir Zelensky of allegedly not knowing what happened to the funds that the U.S. provided to Ukraine for assistance. Additionally, Trump stated that it is time for new presidential elections in Ukraine, and called Zelensky a dictator.
