Meeting of Syrsky with Cavo Dragone

As noted by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, he congratulated Giuseppe Cavo Dragone on his appointment to the highest military position in NATO. Syrsky also expressed gratitude to the Alliance for its military assistance and support.

"I informed Admiral Dragone about the current needs of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in terms of weapons and military equipment, as well as the situation at the frontline, which remains challenging," Syrsky noted.

The discussion also covered reforms in the Ukrainian army. The military is currently transitioning to a corps system to enhance management efficiency.

We remind you that the next meeting of the contact group on Ukraine's defense issues in the "Ramstein" format will take place on February 12. It will be chaired by the United Kingdom.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated that Russia will not win the war in Ukraine. According to him, partners must do everything possible to strengthen Ukraine.
