Семьи заключенных призывают МККК к действиям — сколько людей все еще находится в России?

This was reported by a correspondent from Novini.LIVE.

Co-founder of the Marine Corps Association Alena Skuybida shared during a rally in front of the International Committee of the Red Cross that currently, over 4,000 Ukrainian marines are held captive by Russia, including 1,271 defenders of Mariupol.

Together with other activists, she reminded the organization of the urgent need for genuine efforts to monitor the conditions of Ukrainian prisoners of war. According to her, military personnel who have returned from captivity claim they did not see any representatives of the Red Cross at the detention facilities, despite the organization's statements about their activities in this regard.

Let us recall that the ICRC responded to the rally organized by activists and relatives of the captured soldiers.

Additionally, the team behind the author project "Our Cause" investigated what is happening at the ICRC and what challenges the relatives of prisoners of war are facing.
