Officials from China and Brazil have issued a statement regarding Ukraine.

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Brazil's chief foreign policy advisor, Celso Amorim, held a meeting on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference. They issued a statement regarding the war in Ukraine.

What Representatives of China and Brazil Stated

"China and Brazil fully support the work of the Friends of the World group and will continue to play a constructive role in facilitating a political resolution to the Ukrainian crisis", the statement reads.

Wang Yi also emphasized that China and Brazil are significant global powers and representatives of the Global South, working together to strengthen world peace.

It is worth noting that on February 16, the chief diplomat of the European Union, Kaja Kallas, met with foreign ministers of EU countries during the Munich Security Conference.

Additionally, Norway's finance minister and former NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg highlighted that now is the best time to increase pressure on Russia.
