Former commander of the "Dovbush Hornets" assault drone company, Andrey Onistrat, reported that despite the expansion of the unit he served in, the number of UAV pilots has remained unchanged. Each of these warriors is assigned a section of the front where hundreds of enemy soldiers are located.

On this, Onistrat reported in an interview with TSN.

There is a shortage of UAV pilots

"There are still the same 10 people who are working hard, just as it was before. Everything around has grown, but it’s still those same 10 individuals," — explained the military official.

Onistrat noted that behind each UAV pilot lie hundreds of enemy soldiers that they must confront.

"I have one person who is up against one and a half thousand Russians. I’m not joking. And two more individuals are facing over a thousand. The rest are 500+," Onistrat shared.

The military emphasized that UAV pilots manage this load thanks to their skills, leadership qualities, and a thirst for victory.

Previously, we reported that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff. He met with commanders of drone units.
