This was reported by Ekaterina Mikhalko, as conveyed by a correspondent from Novini.LIVE on Thursday, February 6.
Mikhalko shared that last year she attended a NATO conference in the United States. At that time, partners were demanding just one thing — the production and deployment of Ukrainian drones on the front lines. The same situation was observed at NATO's headquarters, the European Parliament, and the European Commission.
"They are interested in the export of Ukrainian technologies. There is a demand, and it is at a very high level. I feel strange when industries have to prove that we are needed in the world. This is a sense of inferiority that could lead us to miss a historic opportunity and completely lose a high-tech sector that could be the foundation for Ukraine's recovery," added Mikhalko.
It is worth noting that Ukrainian manufacturers could have produced over 1.7 million units of weaponry in 2024, but this did not happen due to a lack of government orders.
Additionally, the Ministry of Defense has authorized the use of unmanned aerial systems ZEUS and HADES in the military.
