In a comment to Novini.LIVE, Rainer Perau, chairman of the German-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce, spoke about this.
"In Germany, we are all eagerly awaiting the end of this war. Unfortunately, many German companies are currently unable to travel to Ukraine due to recommendations from their security services, which indicate that the situation is dangerous right now. However, after the war ends, many German businesspeople will want to restore connections and conduct business in Ukraine," said Perau.
He also mentioned that Germany is currently providing Ukraine with emergency aid for the restoration of critical infrastructure. This includes assistance in the form of generators and transformers that were damaged as a result of attacks.
"Germany is always ready to help. In the long term, there are German companies, project development firms, that are very interested in developing and expanding wind and solar parks in Ukraine. You have a large country. There are many opportunities for the development of wind and solar energy," concluded Rainer Perau.
It is worth noting that there are still companies in Ukraine owned by Russians. They not only continue to operate in the Ukrainian market but also win state tenders. The majority of such companies are registered in Kyiv and Odesa.
According to MP Olga Vasilyevskaya-Smaglyuk, the draft law on the taxation of international parcels has not yet been submitted to the relevant committee. Its prospects are currently uncertain.
