This was stated by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, during a special YES meeting before February 24, organized by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation, as reported by Novyny.LIVE.
The Kremlin is spending nearly half of the country's budget to wage war against Ukraine.
Budanov also highlighted other significant aspects, noting that 49% of artillery ammunition (122 mm, 152 mm) and shells for multiple launch rocket systems supplied to Russia come from North Korea.
It is worth mentioning that Russia spends on the war more than Ukraine receives in aid from all its allies combined.
Previously, Putin expressed his views on the initiation of a negotiation process regarding the war in Ukraine. He assessed the talks between US and Russian delegations in Saudi Arabia.
