A powerful explosion occurred early in the morning in Odessa, yet no alarm was raised.

On the morning of Wednesday, December 4, around 5:30 AM, a loud explosion was heard in Odessa. There was no air raid alert declared in the region at that time, nor was one issued after the explosion.

This information was reported by a correspondent from "Telegraph." Local communities have confirmed these details.

Monitoring reports regarding targets in the city have also not been provided. The cause of the explosion remains unknown. However, residents of the city have taken to social media to express that the explosion was quite powerful.

As of 6:05 AM, no air raid alert has been declared in Ukraine. The "red" alerts are only in the occupied regions of Luhansk and Crimea.

As reported by "Telegraph," at a checkpoint in the Odessa region, a driver in a passenger car hit two border guards — one serviceman died at the scene. The tragedy occurred on December 2 around 6:00 PM. The driver of the VAZ vehicle was a 66-year-old man who failed to pay attention to the speed limit signs.
