The President of the United States, Donald Trump, stated that he had a phone conversation with Russian leader Vladimir Putin. He aimed to negotiate with the Kremlin chief to end the war in Ukraine.
This was reported by The New York Post. According to the American politician, Putin allegedly "wants people to stop dying" during the war. Trump also believes that Putin is supposedly "not indifferent" to the killings on the front line.
"He wants people to stop dying. All these dead people. Young, young, beautiful people. They are like your children, two million of them — and for no reason," the publication quotes Trump.
Recall that earlier "Telegraph" reported that Trump made three significant gifts to Putin. One of these steps will directly benefit the Kremlin resident, while the other two will aid his entourage, which is under Western sanctions.
