The night of December 4th turned restless for Russia. In addition to explosions near the Dyagilevo military airfield on the outskirts of Ryazan and in the Novorossiysk area, drones also targeted one of Russia's largest enterprises in Bryansk — the "Kremlin EL" plant, which produces microelectronics for military equipment.
According to reports from Russian media, the attack occurred around 2:30 AM. Two drones, which flew 10 minutes apart, were allegedly destroyed as they approached the facility of AO "Group Kremlin EL." However, debris damaged the roof and fence. There were no casualties.
As previously explained by the military portal Defense Express, "Kremlin EL" is the second-largest producer of microelectronics in Russia. 90% of its output is for military purposes. The enterprise specializes in the production of transistors, diodes, and simple modules based on them. It is the main manufacturer of components used in almost all military microchips in Russia.
It is worth noting that the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that overnight on December 4th, air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 24 drones, which they referred to as "Ukrainian." Six were over the Rostov region, five over Bryansk, four over Belgorod, three over Ryazan, one over Astrakhan, and five over Krasnodar Krai. The attacks continued into the morning — according to the agency, from 5:30 to 7:40 AM (Moscow time), an additional 11 drones were "intercepted and destroyed."
As reported by "Telegraph," drones attacked the "Kremlin EL" plant previously, specifically on November 19th. A fire broke out at that time.
